In an emergency remain calm, follow the DRSABC action plan and assist any person in immediate danger if safe to do so.

GENERAL EMERGENCY DRSABC ACTION PLAN:
•Danger–check area is safe for you, others, patient
•Response–Check response –touch and talk
•Send–send for help –call triple zero (000) for an ambulance
•Airway–Open mouth –check for foreign material
•Breathing–check for normal breathing –look, listen, feel
•CPR–start CPR –30 compressions: 2 breaths

Road accidents:
•Ensure own safety first
•Activate warning devices –e.g. hazard lights, safety cones
•Alert oncoming traffic
Provide a brief description of the previous days work (If Applicable)
Provide a brief summary of any delay incurred yesterday, Safety or otherwise
Provide an outline of what is planned for this shift, who is going to do what, what other resources will be required andif any plant will be coming onto site
Advise or raise any issues related to the crew in the previous or coming shift
